I will be sending a box to you guys soon. Since everyone is gonna be in Cali
for Christmas I'm putting stuff for everyone in there and I probably won't be able
to wrap anything so...you could open it early if you want. Its not any stuff
super special just stuff I thought you might enjoy.

Hey now according to my count I think my exact halfway is new years so I still
have a little time before I go over that hill(I went through a long time ago
and figured out all the land marks and transfers and stuff)! Time has been
going by super fast! I'm excited that this time next year Ill be hanging out
with you guys but at the moment I can't comprehend that the end of my mission
is getting closer! So bitter sweet. I hope I cant make the best of my time
here!

Yeah transfers are at a kind of awkward time because everyone is wanting to
prepare for Christmas but we aren't quite sure if we will still be here or not
for Christmas.
We don't have any solid plans for thanksgiving we are going to try to celebrate
with the young women and their friends but we aren't quite sure if that is
going to work out or not.

This week I was sick. Just a little runny nose kind of cold but it still kept
us from working normally. Anyways I just wanted to let you know that I am well
taken care of here! All the members were checking up on me giving me tips and
making sure that We have everything to help me get better soon. One less
active sister decided to start treating me like one of her kids and adjust my
coat and scarf for me before I left a ward activity the other night! It was
kinda embarrassing but sweet at the same time.

I have a couple other emails I have to send so I gotta go but I love you
allot!!!!

Happy thanksgiving!!

Hello!

Yeah I got the Gloves OK. I'm gonna go get the other package in a couple mins.

I sent you a letter the other day idk when you'll get it.

The family is doing great! We haven't asked them to change the date yet. I don't think it has quite been the right time yet. But they are making progress so I think it will be really soon that they will change their minds. This last Sunday the lesson in gospel principles was repentance and we talked about not procrastinating the day of our repentance and then next Saturday the bishops son is getting baptized and we will be teaching them the gospel lesson this week so I think with all that they will move up their date soon. They are a really nice family!

The weather here is a lot like what i would imagine of England. Lots of rain. Well it doesn't often rain hard but its often at least overcast.

The only special request i have(i wrote this in one of the letters i sent this last week) is that my companion really likes making gingerbread houses this time of year so if you could send like a kit or something like that I would love to give one to her! as far as I know ginger bread isn't a thing in France really.

Oh one last thing! We are thinking about doing thanksgiving either at home or with an investigator so if you could send me some recipes especially for the stuffing That would be fantastic!

I love ya forever!

Jusqu’à la fin!

Update on that AWESOME family we are teaching -- We wanted to commit them to baptism this week. We got to their house with our member and sat down and were just chatting before we started the lesson. Our member is talking with them and they (our amis) were talking about how they are working on quitting smoking and drinking coffee! (We haven't taught them word of wisdom yet!) Then we start the lesson and ask how their reading is going and he says that he's read the whole Book of Mormon!!! He only got it 2 and a half weeks ago!! And he was talking about how he needs to go back and reread to profondir his knowledge! The wife is in 2nd Nephi which is probably cause they only have one copy and he's been reading it the whole time!(we will fix that this week). So we teach the first part of the plan of salvation and the kids come join in the lesson and at the end we extend the baptismal invitation and they say that they have been talking about it and deciding when they are going to get baptized! They decided on...August 2014 in the canal by their house. But I think that will definitely get moved up soon once they understand a little more about baptism and why it's important. I think they just picked that time because they think it is very picturesque. But anyways they want to get baptized!! And they Love church! They are the coolest family ever! Ps. that happened to be Monster day when we got 4 new amis with a date(a little far away but a date none the less)!

Other than that we had a little miracle last night where we were able to fun into our other ami on the street. He has been super busy this week and we weren't able to see him and we were kind of worried about it but then we ran into him and talked to him for a while and fixed a rdv for tonight! Tender mercy.

It's definitely much more like fall turning winter here. It's been raining allot and there are leaves everywhere! It's very pretty. Sometimes the rain catches us off-guard and we end up getting pretty wet cause I forgot my umbrella that time but I've learned to be prepared anyways.

I did get shays package! Thanks I was surprised to get it and I am super excited about the brownies! The notes from Emma and sister Busby are super sweet! Tell them thanks for me!

Well I got to go for today. Sorry for all the trouble with Amazon.
I love you lots!

Sister Anderson and I are doing great here! I love Montauban. We have already been seeing miracles everyday! We just started teaching a family and they are definitely prepared well before we showed up! They actually found the church online and requested a Book of Mormon! We came and taught them the restoration and when we asked about prophets, the Mom said “we really need a prophet today”. I could tell also that she was really touched my the first vision! We left in awe almost of how prepared and great they are because we invited them to church and they immediately said that they would be there! They actually showed up 15 mins early! Ah, they are definitely miracles!

Oh yeah I am emailing today because we had too many appointments yesterday to do P-day yesterday! Crazy huh?

So the other day we decided to see if we could cut across a cemetery rather than going around it. We get about halfway through when this black cat walks across the path in front of us. And then we realized it was even Halloween!!

They don’t celebrate Halloween here, by the way. But they have like a super memorial day on the 1st of November. They don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here either. Sad huh?

I find that I have a much different perspective on life now. I often look at people and wonder what they are thinking what they are worried about and what their life has been like. I find it hard for me to really understand the things that used to be so important that really just distracted me from really getting anything meaningful done before.

Here is my thought for today. I was really inspired by Enos this morning. You can see in his story that the Lord often does little tests of Faith. Like how he prayed all day long for forgiveness. He was supposed to be hunting and instead he was praying out loud all day long and even when the night came he continued to pray and it wasn't until then that the Lord answered his prayer. It was after he saw that Enos really had the desire that he was really committed that he responded. I feel like that happens to us more than we realize. And It just struck me the importance of just hanging in there until we get our answers and continuing even after that. Because if we don't we will never have these marvelous experiences!
