First Letter from the Provo MTC

My companion is Sister Green; she is really cool. She's from Utah (for the last 4 years) and lived in Georgia before that. We get along really well. My district is actually really cool. We get along too well; though we get distracted sometimes and end up not studying as much as we should. There were 60 something French speaking missionaries that came in with me. We will all be in the same ward and they randomly pick from the congregation to give talks on Sunday...in FRENCH. AH! But the talks are only like 3 mins long so it shouldn't be too bad.

All my books

Where I spend most of my day: the classroom!

My desk

Our schedule

My bed.  (the towel is there because it dips down and I hit my head on it)

Me and my companion-Sis Green

I've seen allot of people I know here. And a lot of people from Palmdale/Lancaster area.  And some from school.

I feel really comfortable. Not homesick (sorry). Thursday was rough but since then it's been really good. We started teaching an "investigator" the first time was okay but the second time not so great. French is coming along really well. I am remembering a lot of what I have learned but there is still a lot I need to work on. I have the missionary purpose memorized in French right now I am working on praying, bearing testimony, and the first vision.

I miss you all very much, but I'm anxious to continue learning!  Mail and care packages are welcome!!  And please write me through dear elder, so when I have time on the computer, I can spend my 30 minutes on the computer responding rather than reading emails.

Love you all!!

-Shayna
