17 Feb: Message From Pres Rooney

2014 02 17 To Missionary Families,

Dear Families,

We just finished a Zone Conference tour where I interviewed every missionary. We nearly doubled the number of missionaries here so we are keeping a vigorous pace but we are full of love for your missionary so we are happy.  There are 263 young missionaries today so that takes all day for two weeks and about 30-35 hours of driving to accomplish. We were so happy to hug every one (my wife hugs your daughters) and see how they are doing. They are doing really well. I only wanted to spank two of them. I am mostly joking but they are happy and doing some very impressive missionary work. They are seeing many miracles.

I am sorry that some are a bit fuzzy or hard to see. None of them were fuzzy in person. We try to post a photo on the blog from time to time but we do not seem to have time to add much information, sorry.

We are working on increasing our love for the Lord and for our neighbor as evidenced by our obedience and diligence and kindness toward companions and every one that we see. We are learning to trust the Lord and be happy. Your prayers and encouragement will help us significantly.
