Last night I had a cool experience. It will probably turn into a miracle. We were in Monaco area looking for an inactive member's house. We were looking for the apartment but the lighting wasn't super good to see the names on the mailboxes so I asked a group of men sitting outside if they knew where this person lived. One man talked to sister Howden for a while trying to figure out that address and name meanwhile on man came and took the book of Mormon out of my hand (I can't even count how many times that has happened)and started looking through the pages he turned to the picture of Christ in the front and told me that he needed this book. He said that he couldn't take it right now because he was with friends but he gave me his name and said that we could find him there. He was very adamant that he needed the book of mormon and to not forget about him. In the mean time Sister Howden had been explaining our purpose to the other men and they all seemed to be interested too and were asking for a pamphlet or something they could read.
they were all a little drunk at the time though...but even in his drunken state this man recognized the picture of Christ and Knew that he needed the book of mormon! So we will go back when they are sober and hopefully they will be even more interested! So its a miracle in progress.
Last week of this transfer! Ah! Time is going by WAY too fast. I think change is in the air. I am leaning more towards me leaving for several reasons but I have said that before and have been dead wrong. Ill be sure to let you know though. Well im sure if I leave the Brias will put pictures of us saying goodbye at the train station on their blog.
