26 Aug 2013 {BIRTHDAY GIRL!!}

**Soeur Young celebrated her 21st birthday on Tuesday, August 27th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Soeur!!

So all those many times of you guys telling me that my feet are gonna be messed up has come to be true. Turns out my ankle and knee problems are all due to my lack of arches. So I went to get inserts and I'll pick them up on the 4th. The doctor said to wear shoes with at least a 2 cm heel...who ever heard of a Dr prescribing heels?? The funny thing is that he was right I have some shoes with a bit higher heel than I have been wearing and I wore them for a couple of days and my ankle and knee have felt a lot better. The only problem with those shoes is they give me blisters. So its kinda lose-lose as far as my shoes go right now.

So to anyone you may know about to leave on a mission: make sure you have the right kind of good shoes for your feet.

The French don't really do air conditioning in homes unless you are really well off. They just open windows. Its starting to cool off. When I first got here it would stay hot all night but now it gets pretty cool at night..I've lost 10 lbs since I've been here. Mostly because of how hot it is and also because we almost never eat out.

Speaking of which I went to Montpillier this week, did an exchange with the sisters there. It was weird to be back but I got to see some members I know and that was fun. It was a super quick trip.

I'll probably  celebrate my birthday by go get some ice cream of some form today. We are doing an FHE with an investigator and my favorite family in this ward tonight. I'm excited.

I forgot the chord to plug in my camera again so sorry no pics today hopefully next week I will remember. If not you can always check out the Bria's page; I'm sure they put up enough pictures to keep you busy :)
