This week has been so awesome!!

First of all I had a big realization the other day that has changed everything. I realized that I wasn't happy and that I should be happy and so I was contemplating why that was and what I needed to do to fix it when I realized I have been going about the last couple weeks with completely the wrong attitude! I was focusing way too much on myself and my progress and not on my investigators as much as I should be. And just having that realization has completely changed my attitude and I feel like we have been receiving so many blessings and miracles since then!!

I noticed a lot this week that I have been receiving answers to my prayers and even in the most simple inconsequential requests.

We have this thing here in our mission about prayers. Basically our goal is kind of to pray too much. One thing we do is pray all together for specific people so each week we have a list of investigators with baptismal dates from around the whole mission that we pray for. It's really cool. And we have been promised that as we do this we will be able to witness miracles and it is so true!

We are teaching a little girl Nanou she is 11 she is going to be baptized on the 22nd. It's been hard to teach her since I've been here because her Mom isn't interested and is super hard to get ahold of. So earlier this week it was looking like it might not be possible for her to be baptized on that day. Her grandmother is a member in our ward and she gave us her 16yr old brothers phone number so that maybe we could talk to her that way. The other night we decided to try it out so we called but he didn't answer but her texted us back asking who it was. Long story short this kid, Lehi, is AWESOME he got his mom to call us and she was super open and seems suddenly really supportive of Nanou. So we invited Lehi to come to church on Sunday...and he said yes! Lehi and Nanou we both there and they are so awesome! Lehi said that he didn't really understand all that was taught in church but that he liked the feeling that he had there! AHH so cool! I mean I don't know any 16yr old boy that would be so willing to come to church without us even teaching him anything about the church. We are going to go teach Nanou this Saturday and Lehi being the sweet awesome kid he is said he would meet us and the bus stop and walk us to their house (the town they live in is kind of far away)!!!

Miracles!

Another one: one of our investigators, Hector, has been bringing his 6yr old son to church with him and his son LOVES church. His wife has been really skeptical and stand offish and didn't really want anything to do with us but this week she came to church! And it seemed like they enjoyed it too!

Well I got to go. love ya lots!

Jusqu'a la fin!!
